Where healing has room to breathe.
“I've sat across from 11 different therapists over 8 years. Nothing prepared me for what two days in Magnolia did.”
— Rebecca T., Earning Secure Attachment Retreat · 2025
Rooted Oaks Ranch is a threshold — a place where women and families cross from the weight of what has been into the possibility of what can be. A world where restoration is a birthright rather than a luxury, the land is medicine, and no one walks the path of transformation alone.
We don't treat symptoms. We tend to souls. On 56 acres of ancient oaks and working horses, we companion women and families through retreats, intensives, workshops, and immersive programs that weave together clinical excellence, somatic embodiment, equine wisdom, and the restorative intelligence of nature.
Most places do one thing well — therapy, wellness, or experiential work. We have come to believe the separation is itself a kind of wound. Every experience here is built from four threads: therapeutic, equine, somatic, and restorative — woven together. The lead thread shifts. The weave never does.
The 56 acres, the horses, the thoughtfully made spaces — these are not surface details. They are the architecture of healing. What looks like beauty is doing something deeper: it is teaching the nervous system how to set down what it has been carrying.
Our programs serve the full spectrum — from those in acute need of clinical support to those arriving in curiosity and growth. You do not have to be breaking to come here. No diagnosis is required to deserve this kind of care.
Adolescent girls navigating identity, trauma, or the ordinary weight of growing up in a complex world.
Women at any stage of life seeking healing, clarity, growth, or restoration.
Couples and dyads doing relational repair or deeper work together.
Families working to understand, heal, and reconnect with the women and girls they love.
Leaders and professionals ready for the inner work that changes how they show up everywhere else.
Anyone who senses there is more — more wholeness, more truth, more freedom — waiting on the other side of the work.
No diagnosis is required to deserve this kind of care.
Healing is not linear — and a good program honors the spiral.
Prevention is the most generous form of care.
The body knows things the mind has not yet caught up to.
Shame cannot survive in a well-held community.
The therapeutic, the experiential, and the restorative are not competing — they are completing.
Nature has always been one of humanity's most reliable healers — and the horse one of its most honest mirrors.
Every woman deserves to be met with warmth before she is met with a protocol.
You do not have to reach a breaking point to deserve this kind of support.
This work is precise. It asks something real of you. It will surface things you have been managing rather than resolving.
If you are ready for that — genuinely ready — there is no better place to do it.
This offering is for people who are done pretending the surface is the whole story.
Two days of intensive, evidence-based attachment work. For individuals who understand their patterns and are ready to change them.
A father and son offering designed to repair, deepen, and fortify the bond between generations.
A half-day introduction to equine-assisted psychotherapy. Small groups, real insight.

There is a kind of bracing the body learns and forgets how to release. Months of it. Sometimes years. No one learns, grows, or truly connects from inside that posture — not until something underneath it whispers, you are safe here. The land does this work. The horses do this work. The slow, unhurried hours do this work. Fifty-six acres of oak canopy, open pasture, and equine partnership — creating a nervous-system environment that accelerates everything else.

You reach out. We respond within 24 hours. No forms. No automation. A human reads your message.
A 30-minute conversation with a licensed clinician. We assess fit. You ask questions. Neither of us commits until it is right.
You arrive. We have already designed your retreat based on your specific needs, history, and goals.
You leave with materials, a follow-up scheduled, and a clear path. The work does not end when you drive away.
“I'm not sure I'm ready.”
Most people who come here said the same thing. Readiness is not a feeling that arrives fully formed — it is a decision made in the middle of uncertainty. The fact that you are reading this is already something.
“I've tried therapy before and it didn't help.”
We hear this often. Most therapy is limited by time, format, and the assumption that insight alone creates change. What we do here is different in structure, setting, and depth. We are not asking you to try harder at what hasn't worked. We are offering something built differently.
“What if I can't afford it?”
We offer payment plans. We also ask you to consider what it has cost — in relationships, in years, in the quiet suffering that doesn't show up on a balance sheet — to carry what you are carrying without the right help. This is not a sales argument. It is a question worth sitting with.
We offer a limited number of retreats each season. Our spring calendar is filling quickly. Join the list to receive availability updates and early access to new offerings.
